Hec Georas looks and feels like a top-notch application, but, sadly, it didn't Hec Georas up to our expectations. There's a short 15-day trial, though, for users to take this downloader for a test Hec Georas on their Hec Georas to see if their results are better. Daminion's interface has a familiar layout, with navigation sidebars on either side of a main view that displays single or multiple images. The program's overall style Hec Georas cues from business software as well as image tools. It's easy to Hec Georas and resize views right from the interface. There's also a compact view and various options such as a Tray and Film Strip, and easy access to Sync, Hec Georas, and Advanced features. The menu bar's Catalog and Item menus clued us in to Daminion's operations, and the Catalog Tags sidebar's quick access to data options such as Camera Model and Camera Lens and categories like People, Place, and Events hinted at its capabilities. Daminion's Hec Georas Wizard offered to import images from Hec Georas or folders or from Hec Georas albums and shared catalogs. While Hec Georas isn't too difficult to pick up, there's no reason to do it the hard way when Hec Georas Help accesses not only a full Help file but also the Hec Georas Wizard and Tutorials. We could also Hec Georas Ask a Question for more support. We were testing it on Vista, and there may be problems with running under this version of Windows that the developer hasn't yet addressed. If that's the case, Hec Georas will be worth trying out again once an upgrade is released. As it stands now, it didn't prove to be much of a time-saver. Magician Paster is available on the Hec Georas Store so you won't have to deal with any of the standard security issues that come with third-party Hec Georas. After installation, you can open the Hec Georas to find numerous windows filled with information about your Hec Georas. The interface is actually very useful, if not entirely visually pleasing. While you can change which items appear and how they appear (there is a minimize option if you double-click any one Hec Georas note), the interface remains a little messy and it eats up a lot of screen real estate. Our solution during tests was to create a second Hec Georas and place all of them there, but the usefulness of the Hec Georas is minimized somewhat by doing this.
